Augusta School District
The Augusta Area School District is located in west central Wisconsin in a small rural farming community. Augusta’s total population is approximately 1,500 residents with a school population of approximately 590 students. There is an elementary building and a middle/high school building that shares a parking lot.
There are 59 certified staff members and 35 support staff. We have three administrators with a part time assistant in the elementary building. Augusta is predominantly Caucasian with a 1% Native American, 1% Black American and 3% Hispanic population.
Augusta Elementary is a SAGE school in grades K-3. Title 1 services go through eighth grade. Based on income levels, close to 50% of our students receive free or reduced lunch.
Augusta has always displayed strong community support for its schools.
